Up close and personal with MMA fighter, Elaina Maxwell

Elaina Maxwell in actionIt takes stamina, skills, and lots of hard work to become a well-rounded martial artist proficient in many styles. The pro fighter, Elaina Maxwell, has achieved this feat, and then some. We got up close and personal with the 28-year-old MMA champ to discover what fuels her passion for the martial arts as well as competition. Her answers, as well as her impressive stats, speak for themselves.

Elaina Maxwell with Randy CoutureAstrid: How long have you been a kickboxer?
Elaina: I've been kickboxing for over ten years.

Astrid: How long have you been competing as kickboxer?
Eliana: I've been competing in kickboxing for approximately ten years.

Astrid: Do you train in other martial arts?
Eliana: Yes, I study many different types of martial arts, such as judo, San Shou, Muay Thai, wrestling, boxing, K-1 kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling.
